Steel bulletproof roller gates are visually similar to typical industrial roller gates, but have a different armored construction.
The slats consist of multi-layer steel profiles with a ballistic insert, usually silicon granules. Such a construction effectively stops bullets by absorbing and distributing their kinetic energy. The gates are always designed individually, taking into account the requirements of ballistic resistance, wall construction and installation conditions.
