Diving snorkels and parts thereof
A snorkel is an indispensable and necessary part of a diver's equipment, but it is often given too little importance. In fact, a snorkel should be chosen responsibly - only then will you be able to enjoy the pleasures of diving and easy breathing. . First of all, you need to remember when a snorkel is used: it is a part of a diver's equipment, intended mainly for surface diving, when additional breathing equipment is not used. A snorkel is also used by divers who dive deeper - when on the surface, it allows you to inhale air from the outside and thus save the available air reserves in the cylinder. Today, snorkels can be of three types. Dry ones have both an upper and lower valve. When diving with such a snorkel, water does not enter it. Semi-dry ones - have only one lower valve. When diving with such a snorkel, water enters it, but when surfacing, it is easy to inflate it because it has a male valve and water is easily removed through it. And the tubes without any valves, the water is blown out through the top of the tube.
