The ski grip zone is where the grip targets are set. The best way to determine the grip zone is to do a test on a piece of paper. If the skis are only used for classic skiing, the grip area on the ski base can be smoothed with sandpaper. This will help the grip hold better under the ski base and will be more resistant to wear.
START synthetic traction oils are suitable for use on both new and old snow. These oils are used by both amateurs and competitors.
Synthetic adhesion grease green
- Designed for temperatures of -5...-10
- Suitable for both old and new snow.
- Weight: 45 g
Instructions for use
Apply a thin, even layer of primer to the bonding area, then apply a temperature-appropriate bonding layer. Smooth with a synthetic cork. Repeat the application procedure 2-3 times, smoothing each layer.
Pavements can be coated with different temperature-resistant compounds. Usually, a harder (for colder weather) base layer is placed underneath to increase abrasion resistance and improve the bond between the different layers. The top layer is adapted to weather conditions.
