Thick yoga mat for greater comfort
The 8mm thick Tunturi yoga mat is ideal for all forms of yoga where you do a lot of lying or sitting poses, such as yin yoga, yoga nidra and meditation. This is because the mat is thicker than "regular" yoga mats (3-4mm), which provides extra comfort and allows you to relax faster. Ideal if hard floors at home or in the gym easily cause discomfort.
Less strain on muscles and joints
The mat is also very suitable for other forms of exercise, such as fitness and Pilates, even if you suffer from (chronic) pain or are recovering from an injury. The thickness reduces the strain on your back, legs, knees, ankles and joints.
Eco-friendly and easy to clean
The yoga mat is made of 100% TPE: a combination of rubber and plastic. This environmentally friendly material is 100% biodegradable, super soft, non-slip, resistant to sweat, odors and bacteria. So you don't have to worry about visible sweat stains. For extra hygiene, you can easily clean the mat with a little detergent.
Carrying bag included
The exercise mat comes in 7 trendy colors and comes with a carrying bag so you can easily take it with you wherever you go. This can be especially handy at the gym because you never have to wonder if the mat has been cleaned recently.
Is this your first time using a mat? Take it out of the packaging, spread it out on the floor, and let it rest for a few hours. This will prevent the mat from shrinking when you first lie on it.
