The FIVB and Mikasa have introduced the latest official FIVB competition ball, Mikasa V200W. This new model replaces the old model, Mikasa MVA200, which was the official ball of FIVB competitions for 11 years. The new ball, Mikasa V200W, will be used at the Olympic Games and all other official FIVB competitions.
The color scheme has been changed. Yellow is now dominant, which improves the visibility of the ball on the field.
A stable ball trajectory is ensured by the innovative Double Dimple and Double Fiber technologies.
The original material Microfiber + PU was developed Mikasa in collaboration with Kuraray.
