hammock - Underquilt NESTO

NESTO is a down insulation blanket for hammocks. Hammocks are becoming an increasingly popular way to sleep outdoors. And yet your sleeping bag, squeezed between your body and the hammock, does not adequately protect you from the cold. The obvious solution is to insert a mat between the hammock and the sleeping bag, but our new NESTO blanket is the ideal solution. NESTO is essentially a down blanket with elastic cords that tightly attach it to the hammock from below. The down filling remains fluffy and retains its excellent insulating properties. The blanket has both lateral and longitudinal compression to fit tightly to the hammock. In addition, there is a collar at both ends. The longer sides of the blanket can be clipped together with S-carabiners or attached to the sides with crocodile clips. The hammock can then be used with a mosquito net, and depending on the temperature, you can use a lighter sleeping bag or blanket.

NESTO is rectangular in shape, so you can also use it as a blanket to cover yourself when sleeping in a car or cabin.
