The origins of table tennis date back several hundred years, but in Lithuania it began to be played not so long ago, in the first half of the twentieth century. However, even then, several clubs representing this sport were founded, competitions began to be organized, and in the middle of the century the first medals were won in world-class championships. Today, table tennis is very popular throughout Lithuania. There are many schools, tournaments and other events related to this sport are constantly organized. Table tennis rackets and equipment are also improving. Previously primitive tools are becoming more and more modern every day, and today you can purchase the highest quality products without any restrictions. Currently, one of the world's leading manufacturers of table tennis equipment is " Tibhar ".
This company was founded by the famous table tennis player and coach Tibor Harangozo. At first, Tibhar could only offer its customers a minimal range of products – balls and rackets – but over time, the manufacturer grew stronger and now surpasses many others in quality and advanced solutions. Tibhar products are constantly tested, and the main goal of the company is to make the most of technological advances and create products that best meet the needs of athletes.
Basic table tennis rules
Those who play table tennis know well that this sport pays special attention to equipment. When table tennis first became popular, there were no such strict rules, but today even the appearance of table tennis rackets (one side is red, the other is black) is precisely specified. The weight of the ball, the dimensions of the net, the specifics of the serve and many other things are also specified. The course of the game itself is also regulated. A table tennis match is divided into several stages - sets, there can be from 2 to 4. of them during a match. A set is considered won when one of the players scores 11 points. For a long time, table tennis rules were not specified, and when international tournaments began to be held, the International Table Tennis Federation took up this work. The federation is still responsible for their maintenance and changes.
